Christine J. Kemp Ph.D

Dr. Kemp is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Human Development and Family Studies at Colorado State University.  Her research and practice focuses on the developmental impact of childhood trauma. She conducts and supervises comprehensive assessments on children and adolescents with a history of trauma, including neurocognitive testing, psychosocial interviews, and collaboration with other professionals serving the child and/or family, with the aim of protecting the child and building resilience in the context of a safe environment.  Dr. Kemp earned her B.S. in Psychology from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010 and her Ph.D. in Applied Developmental Science from Colorado State University in 2015.
